This lake has been a part of me for as long as I can remember, its glassy surface reflecting childhood summers, golden sunsets, and now, on this still night, the Milky Way in all its brilliance. As I set up my camera, I let the night unfold around me—bullfrogs croaked, owls called, and a distant coyote’s howl echoed through the darkness. Then—CRACK! A beaver’s tail slapped the water, a stark reminder that I was not alone. The stars continued their slow dance, and in that moment, I felt infinite connection beneath the endless sky.
